    24:-ish RX
First true RX for me, if I am not mistaken.
Great group at 5:30 this morning, everyone worked very hard. Lopez, thanks for pushing me to finish the Farmer’s Carry in a run…I “enjoyed” it!

  2. Coach Jim

    Happy B-day Shawn!
    Great work this morning pacemakers.
Byron, your consistency has really paid off with 30 DUs in a row and your OHS is deep and solid! Now go run some on the weekend and fill-up that gas tank! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Which reminds me… All CossFitters, if you are not supplementing your CrossFit with some additional Cardio you are doing yourself a disservice. Find a nice course and run it at least once a week. We meet in Memorial Park for a Sunday run at 7am…consider yourself invited.
Arthur, You have a lion’s heart! OHS will come soon, it is a very difficult movement to master!
Josh, Consistency is paying off you are getting to your fighting weight…nice Rx
Lopez and Ben had a great war going this morning. Nice push guys.
Coaching Day for me. Thinking of doing some strength work this evening we’ll see….
Teams for tomorrow, try and be early to setup your stations. We have two events tomorrow and if we are organized we should be done by 8:45. It’s going to be a blast!
Have a great Friday everyone and if your not sure about working out today…suck it up and get some! See you tonight.

  3. Coach Jim

Actually C-Note. I told Lopez he does EVERYTHING well and nothing excellent (except enchiladas). Much like most good crossfiters. Big difference.

  4. Billdozer

15:51(RX) Thought I was beating Taco on the first run, then I found out he was toying with Todd and I and making fun of us while running. Good workout today, enjoyed this one. Great job to all the Thundercats today.

  5. Coach Jim

Team WOD for tomorrow will be posted soon!

  6. T to the O to the Double-D

16:46 aka C-note territory. Fun wod. Everything unbroken except dropped bar 1 time in both rd 4 and 5. That was just enough time Dozer and Spec needed to smoke past me. Drats!
I don’t think either one of those guys broke a sweat today. Whatever! I’m taking the jeep out.
The Dream-killers will be there tomorrow morning.

  7. Nicole Disco D

The OHS were hard because I felt I was going topple over any moment. I had a difficult time going deep. I did alot better then I thought I would. Thanks Dennis for the push, you are right.
I am there at the beach!!!!!
    Happy B-day Shawn ๐Ÿ™‚

  8. Stacy

    HBD Shawn!
Farmers’ carry and I have a history together
Todd, Billy — we can have another showdown tomorrow…then drag the sled

  9. you're worst nightmare (or dream-killer, in this case)

It is on like proverbial Donkey Kong.

  10. Jen

    Happy Birthday Shawn!!!
Thanks Coach Jim for the reminder…I’ll definitely run 5K before work this evening!
My boss gave me off next Saturday!!!wooohooo! can’t wait to cheer everyone at the competition!

  11. Silverback

    19:02 (Rx)
Those of you that did this WOD in the 15s and 16s were f*@# fast. I probably shouldn’t have done the runs and farmer’s carrys backwards…
    HBD Shawn!

  12. Tess

YEY! finally conquered DUs today. You’re right G,it’s all about rhythm. I’m more ecstatic to know that I still have “it” coming from an old hag :o) Thanks Carl for the push…and Dennis, what can I say? thanks for “leading me by the hand” ‘truly felt like a damsel in distress (seriously). Thanks Hernan for dropping by to cheer us up. You look mighty nice in your get-up today. Geat job to all 12 nooners.

  13. Red 'Barkley' Byron

    27 and seconds (75# OHS, 35# FC)
Jim–though I appreciate the props, don’t feel like you owe me after saying ‘we preach consistency and you are consistently last’…greatness.
I will, however, take the advice of running again on off days. I quit before the holidays and it’s killing me on these type WOD’s.
Good workout…now I’m going to go drink it back on.

  14. Coach Jim

Did I say “last”? I think I may have said “fast” I’m not sure. ๐Ÿ˜‰

  15. Deborah Lea

Great working out at noon today and meeting everyone! Thanks everyone for the encouragement!

  16. Janet

    Happy B-Day Shawn!
18:37 – first RX! Thanks for the push Jim..think this WOD hit to my strengths…loved it!

Lopez, I always seem to keep a few seconds off my time when you’re around… thanks for pushing me in the end!:)
C-note, I really appreciate the acknowledgement, THANK YOU! ๐Ÿ™‚
    Great Job Everyone!

  18. Green Lantern aka Playboy (fka bryan g.)

    20:25 (65#OHS, 26#KB)
    Awesome group at noon!!!
Ready for tomorrow for some teamwork!!

  20. Noel (Wheezy)

    27:?? (55# OHS, 35# KB, side-jumping thing)
    – First time doing OHS with anything heavier than the PVC pipe. Looks like another skill I need to develop.

  21. chrissy c

This one was harder than it looked!!!

  22. caci

Thanks so much Coach Jim and G and Judy for the encouragement. I have never wanted something to end so bad in all my life. But I feel good about doing it. 28:?? (35#OHS, 90 jump ropes, 18# KB)

  23. Noel (Wheezy)

Go Caci Go! Finish it hard, ice the shins, and repeat!
Remember what I always say when I am the last person finishing the WOD…If I am going to be the last person, I am going to be the FASTEST last person in the WOD!

  24. Nisha

    29:25 (45#OHS, DUs, 26#KB)
yep, did DUs all 5 rounds, and took many, many minutes doing them, LOL..but, completed all 150 nonetheless…thanks Chrissy for tackling them with me ๐Ÿ™‚
Now if I can just figure out how to string more than 1-2 in a row…

  25. G

Awesome baseline today Manuel and Nef!
Congrats on your first Rx Josh P and Janet!
    Milestones on DUs:
    Rosie = 3 consecutive DUs
    Arthur = 2? consecutive DUs
Red Byron = 30 consec DUs
Tess, aka Taz = 10 consec DUs
    Deborah = 1 DU
    Romi = 1 DU
**Tuff Girl and Playboy = you guys need to be on this list with consec DUs!
Good to see Crazy Carl back on track now.
Caci, the WODs are hard but they make everything else you do in life easier. Hang tuff. Good thing Weezy has a good sense of humor!

  26. G

20:08 (Rx) forearms failed me on the 35#KBs, I was shooting for C-Note territory or at least beat Silverback’s time since he has been trash talking a lot lately!
But I enjoyed the push that Janet gave me…you run fast…kept me going for sure!
    Thanks for the push Jim!

  27. JUDY

2?:?? I can’t remember but wrote it in my binder. DUs, OHS(65), FC(26). Need to stop thinking about going heavier if I don’t go low w/ form. Thanks and great job everyone

  28. Jolecelle
