I hate Ring Rows. I am having a party when I graduate to the bar!!!!!!
Thanks to Famela for keeping me on track today.

  5. the "Gris"

12:36 RX. Good to workout with Logan and the nooners on my day off. G – Thanks for the push execute RX. The weighted pull-ups certainly slowed me down none-the-less.

  6. Macho Ranger

  8. Silverback

    15:55 or 15:57 (Rx)
Cruised through first round, the hit a big, frickin wall at the beginning of 2nd round. No clue why, but couldn’t string much of anything together after that. Thanks Mike for the moral support (and counting my reps).

I did the inaugural Men’s Health Urbanathlon in New York about 5 years ago. It was a 10-mile stage race. I will do it again. I would love to do it again.

For the shirts, how about: “pressure is a privilege.”
I have that motto posted in all my restaurants. 🙂

  14. Jen M.

    10:03 (125#,40#,RR) then 500m row
Finally got to workout with Mr. Macho Ranger!

  15. sunshine

“are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?” was my response (edited for viewers) when Jim traded my favorite cute lil kettle bell with a 53#er. I swung it for the last 2 rounds, and I thank jim for it. Im not able to fully extend up top, but man, it felt great to go heavy!
135# DL, 35/53#KB, wide band static pull ups. 11:35.

  16. She-Ra

Lots of different convos going on here!! Masters wods, squeezing ass and mental blocks!! Crossfit rules 🙂
    7 rds
10 hspus (first 6 H2G 😀 … of the first round.. the rest 1 ab mat)
    10 SC 45#
    10 L pull-ups
Almost had sub 30, but to be honest L Pull-ups are Hard!!!
    Then I did the incline:
Check it out: (it’s a singles website, but the best to showcase the beauty that is the Manitou Springs Incline)

  17. Macho Ranger

WOW She-RA I want to try that! What was your time?

  18. Julia

110# Deadlift, Ring Rows, 26# KB Swings

    Very first WOD. 15-12-9.
    Deadlift – 165
    Weighted P/U – W/ Band
    KB Swings – 35
Thanks Jim & Grace! I must be a glutton for punishment. I’ll see ya Wednesday.

  20. Heather

    10:45 (135#, RR, 44# KB)
Thanks coaches for getting me to go heavier on the KB. That was my first WOD with the 44 – felt pretty good 🙂 Sunshine, way to go heavy with the 53!

  21. the "Gris"

Todd / C-note – Or “Pain is weakness leaving the body.” Cliche but still my favorite. “You can sleep when you’re dead” and “food is a crutch” are some other good ones.

  22. Green Lantern aka Playboy (fka bryan g.)

    12:28 (225#/20.5#/53#)

  23. D-Mena

Holy hell that was a lot of weight… I have no idea what my time was but I did Rx except for the pull ups. Used the small band cuz I’m still getting my kipping down… Almost there though. Thanks for the “bottom of the ninth” push to Morris, Silverback, Billy, and Bob. It always helps to have someone (or multiple someones) yelling in your face.

  24. D-Mena

P.S. Our team name is “Buck Furpees”. Bring it.

  25. Nisha

    8:50 (125#, RR, 35#)
Wish I would’ve went with the 145# for the DL like I originally planned but was worried about the time and talked myself into a lower weight..next time gonna just go for it cuz I hate when it’s over and I think, “man, could’ve done more”….

  26. H the B

    16:40(20# DB)
toooo heavy. More like back curls at the end instead of deadlifts.

  27. Teach

I feel like I have ADD reading this thread…so much going on!
I did Annie today in my garage
    Time: 9:59
I don’t think i went very fast on the sit ups for some reason. But I managed to do the last 3 rounds of DUs unbroken!
After I finished, took Ansley on a walk to the park, so that was my cool down 🙂

  28. Freakin' PR !!!

I like the name for the team!!! Good movie by the way!
    11:21 (165# DL,10# PU, 53# KB)
Thanks LA for counting my reps! My hands were killing me today
    I’m so ready for Thursday!

  29. Billdozer

9:35(RX) That was interesting, tried to beat C-Note, but once again was denied thanks to those weighted pull-ups. Lots of hard work by everyone today, especially Bob almost destroying that 70#KB and the floor as well.

  30. 007

    10:29 (RX)
My hands slowed me down more than anything. I was trying so hard not to tear, I forgot about the clock on the 12 round of pullups.

  31. Noel (SKIPPY)

    10:19 (205#, RR, 53#)
Need to get me some fancier socks!
psst…a little secret…..185# is my 1RM for deadlift! I was doing more than my max, woohoo!

  32. Schubert

Missed the WOD today due to work and getting home so my wife could make it to her WOD at Clear Lake CrossFit. I managed to get in a little backyard workout.
    4 rounds
    25 burpees
    25 situps
    25 squats
I am counting it. 1 of 5. This week I will be traveling to San Francisco for work.

  33. Caci

    ring rows, 115#DL, 18#KB swings. Time 10:53

  34. Mister Magnesium (J. Dolenga)

9:36 or something like that…225#DL, 53#Swings, Medium Band
My forearms have never felt like that before. Glad that after 20 minutes I was able to flex my fingers again.
Tried DL 245# on Billy’s reco prior to the WOD. Too much for a sustained effort, but having never attempted it before, it was a DL PR.

  35. Ximena

    If I remember correctly 11:21 (105#,RR,26KB)
I need to work on not bending my back so much towards the end of the WOD’s with all the weight. I think my main focus is getting through it and not worrying about my form =(

  36. Jack Rabbit

Not a good night but after a long shower I figure I can’t sit here and cry about it can I! I’ve got to keep at it if I want stronger hammies!!!
Thanks G for the ice, massage and support.

  37. T.C.

I liked this one, first WOD I did all the pull-ups with out a band
    11.31? 245 DL/ kipping pull-ups/70KB

  38. G

    Sheryl, Dianna, Chad and Kevin
Welcome back Elissa and David W., who are on summer break.
Good to see Chalkman, Mikey, Ian, Logan and Nathan Church back in action.

  39. G

Gris, you are an Rx athlete and just couldn’t let you get away with this one 🙂
Fam, that looks like a blast!
Silverback should do the Masters this year!
Awesome milestone Heather, Sunshine and Skippy!
She-Ra, The scenery looks like fun on the incline! Btw, congrats on your CF Total PRs.
“Pain is a Privilege” sounds like a CrossFitter’s motto! That might be the one!
D-Mena, good team wod league name!
Good to see Schubert being accountable with his fitness!
Lots of TLCs for you Jack Rabbit! Where’s Teach when I needed her to sing the “Little Bunny FooFoo” nursery rhyme to cheer you up! Don’t forget the magic of the lacrosse ball…Play It Again Sports..they come in different colors.

  40. G

    10:23 (165#DL, 15# Wtd Pull-Ups, 53# KBS)
Would have done 26# on the Wtd Pull-ups if a belt was available. But I’m pumped with that time because it’s a lot closer to the 100-dollar bill man.

  41. Teach

“little bunny foo-foo hoppin’ through the forest, scoopin’ up the field mice and BOPPIN’ ‘EM on the head!”
That was for you Jack Rabbit 🙂

  42. She-Ra

Jim, My time was 35 minutes on saturday before the WOD, but today it was 42 minutes after the crazy 7 rd wod!! You should def come up here and experience it first hand.. the pictures do no justice!!!
THanks for the congrats G!! 🙂 I’m super stoked to be getting up there in the 200s for DL and to finally be breaking into the tripples for shoulder press!!
    CF games.. here I come!
