Holy crowded box at 8:30 Batman. Hate to have to sneak out the back during the second heat, but I had a 10:00 meeting to get to.

    22:14 I think.

Started out good with 3 consecutive mu’s then the rest was just pulling teeth. Did 7 all together then decided to do 3 sets of pull-ups and dips just so I can get moving.
Wanted to do at least 135# but thought 115# would be reasonable.
Special thanks to Beast for showing up to cheer me on and running with me. Thanks Babe!
Thanks to G, Silverback, HeatherD and everyone else for the encouragement!

  16. Miles Bandalan

JA- It was so good to see you, too! Thanks, girl! Good job, Nooners! I unfortunately lost a lot of strength/endurance during all the time I took off…sucks, but I will get it back and will not let myself forget what this feels like 🙂

  18. Freakin' PR !!!

    18:00 (105 SC)
I was tired today for sure!! I managed to get one MU. The rest was ring pull ups and ring dips….that slowed me down!! Not a good thing for a competitive person like myself. Oh well! but I need to air out my frustration….lol
Next HSPU (Rx)…that gave me a little boost
Ready for tomorrow morning!!!! GO DAWGS!!!

  19. Gatekeeper < -III-------III-

    Welcome aboard Ralph S!
Great to see Scott Jackson back in action 🙂
    C-Note, you’re welcome.
Rosie, glad to see the progress!
Chad B, you picked up the Handstands pretty quick.
Good to see Ed, He-Man, Teresa and Octavia back in action.
Some of you pushed on the heavy cleans today! Awesome!
Nice to see the consecutive MUs in the box.
FPR, I don’t why we didn’t switch you to jumping MUs after your several failed attempts after the 1 rep that you got! Nonetheless, good job on the strict HSPUs!
Fam, haha! Like Beast, I also thought you were giving your hubby a nickname. LOL!!
Ivannah, nice milestone! We will alternate between the 2″ band assist and ring rows depending on the volume of reps.
007, way to stay with the MUs!
    Ramrod — nice time!
It was good to see Playboy run with Octavia to help push her through the 650m run.
Gatekeeper, you are a very spoiled husband! It was awesome to see Beast come in at noon to support you and run with you.
Skippy, good to see your doctor’s confirmed improvements on BP, HR and your asthma related check-up checklist. Keep working hard!

  28. Gatekeeper < -III-------III-

By the way, nice rip Beast!

  29. Noel (SKIPPY)

    14:38 (2″ band/box dips/pike PU/95# SC)
Beautiful day today. Thanks Scott for helping me find a good weight to work with. Thanks Ramrod on making sure my form was working.
Today, had an appointment with the pulmonologist for breathing test. My capacity has increased but there is no more response to bronchodilators (its a good and bad thing). In essence, my lungs have opened up and functioning well on their own. Just need to continue taking inhaled steroids to increase capacity. You’d think with a semi-barrel chest I’d have MAX capacity by now!
Maybe I need to buy a shirt that says “CHEESY”.
