We have about 8-9 female athletes competing this weekend at CrossFit Houston's Girls Only Summer Challenge and majority of the competitors are currently participating in our ACF Team WOD League.  Therefore, we are issuing a mandatory BYE week for the entire league next week.  The weekend warrior class will be held as regularly scheduled on Saturday for those who are not competing or are not able to watch the competition.  We hope to see most of you at the event, though.

    12:22(RX) Sprinted through the first round because I thought we only had to do 1 round, then I spent 8 minutes and 30 seconds on the 2nd round. But for a brief second in the first round, I thought I was destroying Cal’s time.

    It was great to see everyone! A lot of people I don’t know, but I’m sure we’ll become more aquainted. Fam, you slipped out so fast I barely got to say hi! Next time!

    I thought I was killing it too TC!! I looked up after the first round and the clock said 5:00! I was pumped. But, then on 20 deadlifts my lower back went stiff. I had to fight to finish! Great job 6:00 crew!

    Pumped Lisa, my wife, started tonight. And Lucas, my 9 month old, enjoyed the atmosphere. It feels like we are a crossfit family.. which is real nice.
    Amazing amount of people coming of all ages.. it’s great. Kudos to every single coach, your all great and thanks.

    My back feels like I aged 50 years over night though.
