    I wrote “POSE” because I tried the POSE method of running. Basically, I ran on my toes or without touching my heal to the ground and I pulled instead of kicked. It felt like running on stilts or ice skating in some ways. Harder in some ways (because I’m not used to it) and easier in other(seemed a little more efficient).
    Wasn’t looking forward to this wod..endurance not at the top of my list. I worked so hard that I expected to see a 12:..something… and did not. But, I left it on the floor.

    Piss poor showing on my part tonight…. I was “ornery” to begin with. Pretty much quit this WOD after the run and never recovered. It’s a shame too…. this WOD was a great workout for my 5k on Saturday.

    Solo on 2nd heat with the 5pm crew, guess not having anyone during the runs with me didn’t help. I actually like this WOD, felt good on first 20 reps on ring dips and pretty much singled or coupled the remaining 20reps from there.

    No lingering memory of how the last 20 ring dips felt. This WOD turned out to be a killer on legs, very deceptive Jim. Loved this WOD even though my time sukt!
    The 4pm men’s heat were blazing fast on the 1000m run. Let me get the record straight, the 4pm used to be called Firebirds…now they are now officially the FIREBREATHERS because they breath only hot air :). 5pm is hotter. I’m just saying, right Chad The Nomad?
    Good to see some folks able to get stable on the box assisted ring dips today for their first time.

Heck of a group to work out with at 4, my goal was to do all 40 wall balls in a row and I made it to 7. I believe the ACF crew is peaking at the right time for competition.

    Well the Vamps were hot tonight…literally. I think it was 150 degrees in the gym. Asthma didn’t get me until the wall balls and then I lost precious time standing there while my lungs decided if I was going to suffocate or not. I didn’t.

    Great partnering Dar. Sorry, I fumbled with the rowing buttons and added a few seconds to your time…you still rocked!
    We all had to do burpees again because Bryan was in rare form.

    I did this WOD in 18:21 but I ran 1500 m twice because I don’t have a rower and I used a 25 pounds wall ball. Another nice workout today thank you guys from ACF.

    HBD Princess! 15:40, box assist ring dips, 14#WB. Running and form on the ring dips could be better. Went slower on the rower than I did yesterday. Always room for improvement. All this talk of Sat is making me anxious and nervous, but I am ready! Grace, I was just yellin @ you like you would do for me, you rocked it, cute tats too =)

    What in the world is “community shorts” Chrissy? Isn’t it already weird enough that there is “community shoes” in the box?
    Gatekeeper bought me a pair of grips for my pull-ups. I guess he is getting tired of hearing me scream everytime I wash my hands. I can’t wait to use them!
    Bummer that we are missing the Saturday competition. :o(

    I knew I was going to get a max workout when AgentOrange teamed up with me. And he came through again. So much that coach Jim had to throw in the towel for me at 20 reps instead of 40 for the WB. yes it got hot in there, 150 sounds about right. Maybe i should not have sprinted (it was sprinting for me!) the last 100 metrs of the 1000m run – not sure, still experimenting. my squats were not that great either on the WB. Overall, great WOD since i think i maxed out on what i could do. Viv la AgentOrange, Coach Jim and the vamps !
