    So glad my butt got out of bed this morning and joined the Pacemakers! It’s tough getting used to all the modifying 🙁

    Great 8:30 class…good job everyone.

  4. Sandbag

    I don’t appreciate everyone’s derogatory comments towards me and my kind. You think it’s easy getting slammed around and being grappled/fondled by a bunch a sweaty athletes?? And what’s up with the whole Turkish get-up thing anyway?

    Happy Birthday to You AndiAn!
    You look so bored with the rope climbs Lahtedah rope climb #7 lahtedah …in fact, all of the WODs come so natural to you–we need to find a challenge for you…DU’s?!?! LOL

    First time to officially complete a rope climb and I did it twice!!! Yay me! haha! I need more practice so I can hold the rope better with my feet/ankle. My ankles and hands hurt so bad coming down from the second climb that I jumped…Grace didn’t like that, I’m not gonna lie, it didn’t feel good on the insides. Oh well!
    I was also proud that I did 75# instead of 65#…much better choice of weight. Good day for me 🙂
    Ummm Beth you scaled and STILL did more than me! Awesome job! Can’t wait to see that growing belly 🙂 I got to see Jen’s today! Soo cute!

    Rope climbs are a big equalizer for tall skinny folks.

    WTH!! TC…. You need 200lbs on your Clean&Jerk! That was pretty impressive!
    Thanks Coach D..

    Bobo: The reason I did not mention in my post about carrying the small black chaulk bucket on a sand bag carry during today’s WOD is I would just feel terrible if a weaker, less gifted athlete injured himself/herself trying to duplicate such a technically demanding athletic feat. Core, strength, power, muscle endurance, agility, balance, the caulk bucket carry stresses them all to the max. It will find your weakness and make you face it down. No question about it. That’s why even I only attempted it once today! Chief!

    29:?? (55#,25#SB, mod rope) This scaling is killing me, but I know it is for the best…
    Great working out with the 8:30 crew this morning! BIG group! Way to work everyone!

    26:36 (Rx) – Thanks for the encouragement The Nomad, Dble D, Maddog, Silverback and the rest of the Peanut gallery! Awesome coaching Daniel!
    Great job 5pm! Awesome pacing with you guys, especially with our drop-in/latest newbie, Matt C!

  23. G

    Good job on your baseline tonight Cole! Welcome aboard!
    Good to see Barkley, TC, Tyler, Wolverine, Dble D, OMG and He-Man back in action!
    Huge class at 530 and 830 today!
    @S*Nash, I was a little concerned and thought maybe one of your feet would land on the rope but glad that it didn’t.
    @Fam, awesome milestone!
    @DirtyD, you were doing very well today. Just wanted to make sure you were always grounded on your heels.
    @Speedy J, perhaps think of your leg as your third arm….being bipedal (dexterity with your leg/foot/ankle?)…so you can use your legs going up.
    Maddog, nice gym record of 1 min and change on 5 rope climbs!
    @Barbella, LOL!
    Andi-An, hope you are doing those travel WODs =) and enjoying your birthday vacation!
