    Cruised through first round, the hit a big, frickin wall at the beginning of 2nd round. No clue why, but couldn’t string much of anything together after that. Thanks Mike for the moral support (and counting my reps).

    I did the inaugural Men’s Health Urbanathlon in New York about 5 years ago. It was a 10-mile stage race. I will do it again. I would love to do it again.

    “are you kidding me?!?!?!?!?” was my response (edited for viewers) when Jim traded my favorite cute lil kettle bell with a 53#er. I swung it for the last 2 rounds, and I thank jim for it. Im not able to fully extend up top, but man, it felt great to go heavy!
    135# DL, 35/53#KB, wide band static pull ups. 11:35.

    Almost had sub 30, but to be honest L Pull-ups are Hard!!!

    Holy hell that was a lot of weight… I have no idea what my time was but I did Rx except for the pull ups. Used the small band cuz I’m still getting my kipping down… Almost there though. Thanks for the “bottom of the ninth” push to Morris, Silverback, Billy, and Bob. It always helps to have someone (or multiple someones) yelling in your face.

    I don’t think i went very fast on the sit ups for some reason. But I managed to do the last 3 rounds of DUs unbroken!
    After I finished, took Ansley on a walk to the park, so that was my cool down ๐Ÿ™‚

    My forearms have never felt like that before. Glad that after 20 minutes I was able to flex my fingers again.
    Tried DL 245# on Billy’s reco prior to the WOD. Too much for a sustained effort, but having never attempted it before, it was a DL PR.

    I need to work on not bending my back so much towards the end of the WOD’s with all the weight. I think my main focus is getting through it and not worrying about my form =(

    Jim, My time was 35 minutes on saturday before the WOD, but today it was 42 minutes after the crazy 7 rd wod!! You should def come up here and experience it first hand.. the pictures do no justice!!!
