    Happy Birthday David!
For those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of using a bar after chalkman, it’s a real treat and it saves you time on chalking up because it is fully covered.

  7. Valentin (aka V.T)

I wasn’t sure how Grace was going to modify this one for me, but she did 🙂 I like squat cleans so I got to do one each round and then the front squats. It was nice to have another preggo there with me! Nice to meet you Caci! Thank you Ivannah for your comment, so sweet of you!
Thank you Billy for bringing me my heartrate monitor…I needed it for this one!

Nice to meet you as well, Sarah. Now I don’t feel so alone with the modified WODs. Thanks for the idea about the CrossFit Moms WODs. Going to miss you tomorrow Ivannah.

95#SC & 40#SB <---- too light for me I guess?? 🙂 What the heck am I thinking, running extra 200m???

  13. JohnnyB

    Happy Birthday David!
Goodluck Skip, I know you’ll ace it!
19:23 – 95#SC; 40# SB <---- It's too light.... I guess!? 😎 What the heck am I thinking, running extra 200m?! Working out with Billy & Teach I'm lost! Thanks both for teaching me... Thanks Coach G!

18:45 SC 135# and something around 70# maybe 60 or 65 pounds sandbag,I’m not sure.

  16. Green Lantern aka Playboy (fka bryan g.)

    21:xx (115/70)
Let me reiterate that Skywalker and Mikey are FDBs for missing this one. Mogi too (even though this is only wk 1 back.

  17. JUDY (Fbomb)

20:56?? 40#SB, 85#SC. I was going super slow! Never walked with the sandbag before but that heat kicked my ars! Thanks Skippy for cheering me on, even though you were holding an umbrella while I burnt to a crisp. Thanks Teach for making me stick with the 85#s, and Beast for getting in my face the last 10 SC…or should I say Clean Squats? happy bday chalkman

  18. Matt

    14:57 (70#, 115)
Even though a supposed ‘clock malfunction’ added 10 seconds to my time, making it 15:07… I maintain that I finished under 15 minutes.
    PS – Hi Beth.

  19. Silverback

    15:40 (70#SB, Rx – 135#)
Rest day yesterday helped. Also thanks Chalkman for sharing your tips on WOD. Way to tackle the heavy weight Aaron & Joe.

  20. Agent Orange (J. Dolenga)

21:56, but there is a rumor about a 10 second “clock malfunction”
(115, 70#) I was scared of that many reps of that squat clean weight, but it was Goldilocks.
Thanks to G and Beth for the push, and for never letting me forget where my elbows belong.

  21. Abbye Mac

    22:39 or 23:39 40lb sandbag and 65lb squat cleans
Hardest WOD I have ever done…I’m not sure how I finished!
Thanks G for pushing me, you make do something I’ve never done before with every workout and everytime I finish I am so proud of myself even if I do terrible! I LOVE ACF!
And Teach I HATE running backwards…I’m way to un-coordinated for all that!

  22. chrissy c

    19:15 (55#, 40#SB)
This one was lots of fun! It’s a shame we couldn’t have added a few Curtis P’s after the runs!
Now if only I could tell the difference between a Ford and a Dodge…

  23. Billdozer

17:29(RX) I should have known Silverback would beat me on this, well done sir. In my defense, it was too damn hot to do anything at 4 but I still made it to the workout.

  24. Teach

    17:24 (40# SB, 115#)
It brought back a rush of memories going up against ‘Dozer and SOS again! Haven’t worked out with the afternoon groups in a while!
Hernan – where the heck were you…I got so excited when I thought I would get to work out with you tonight! Then I was so disappointed 🙁
Great to see so many people there tonight! I was even graced by the presence of the Chalkman himself!
Kendra – great job on your first official WOD! You really picked up the hang of the cleans!
Marie – nice meeting you tonight!
Robert, Kyle, whatever your name is 🙂 – way to push through and finish that WOD!
    HeMan – HI 🙂
Vamps – I will totally blame the clock malfunction on Silverback…he might be mighty at many things, but running a clock is not one of them 🙂

  25. Noel (SKIP)

    21:18 (105#/40# SB)
It was not that bad at all. Hot! Hot! Hot! It was fun hanging with the 16:00 Group.

  26. Pepper

    20:26 (40#SB, 65#SC)
Dar was moving too fast. Kept trying to inch ahead on the squat cleans only to have her motor past me on the sand bag runs. I hope to catch you one day, Dar!
High five, Kendra on your first wod…you did great!
Thanks G for making me feel so good about the smallest improvements!

  27. TC

I cant wait to come back to Thursday nights!!!!

  28. G

    20:42 (40# SB, 115# SC)
Dunno what I was thinking about doing BW but the Birthday Boy showed up and challenged me on the Cleans. Thanks for staying with me on the last 10 reps Chalkman and JohnnyB.
Nick A showed up at 8:30 and was kinda disappointed that majority of them took a rest day.
Welcome on your first WOD Kendra and Brookly!
Logan you are cleared on going RX from now on. I remember talking to you about this before.
Abbye, your time was 22 minutes…good push tonight.
Good to see Sean S and Gary W back in action.
Nice to see Bullet stop by for a visit tonight.

  29. Jen C

Thanks Beth, JohnnyB, Richard and everyone for the encouragement!
Don’t like running especially if you add weight to it.
