215-230-240(PR)-250(m)-250(m) Mixed emotions on this one. At least I know it’s not the pulling that is the issue.

I should have gone heavier on my first rep. I’m so sad I missed 85 the first time! Stupid BOOB!!!

Welcome on your first WOD Sara K!
Good to see Brandy, Bernard, Ingrid, Nancy, Holly, Sean B and The Nomad back in action.
Bernard posted, nice! Keep your focus on technique and it’ll pay off.
Ivannah, You have the clean movement down. Front Squat Strength WODs or Open Gym should help your confidence.
Alice, have fun on your long weekend!
Julia, that bar definitely traveled on a straight line to hit them puppies!
Chrissy, I think the chewing gum is your kryptonite. Awesome loads and time tonight! Good riddens, huh!
Agent Orange, good to see you embrace your weakness!
Way to fight through Summer! HSPUs are known to force people to speak french!

  23. Lauren

    8:45 (85# dl, combat boot-weighted kips, pike)
Cleans felt good, I could(should?) have gone heavier. I never, never would have thought I’d be squat cleaning 85 and thinking, too light; all the coaches have done an awesome job drilling the correct form into my head. Julia is right, burpees were the worst combat boot movement, but kipping in them was no party. Could only manage in sets of two.
Great group at 4!! Way to rock the boots Julia and thanks for running with me after. No, Jim, my legs are no longer muscularly-challenged. You’ll just have to get used to it. :p
