Starting this week there will be two Saturday WOD sessions, 7:30am-8:30am and 8:30am-9:30am.  Both will be Team or Partner WODs.  Open Gym will now be from 7:30am-9:30am on Saturdays.

New Erg monitor

All the rowers (ergs) now have updated firmware – they also have programmed favorite workouts. 4 preset distances (250m, 500m, 1000m, and 2000m), as well as a Tabata setting (20 sec row/10 sec rest, it will keep track of your number of intervals). Here’s how to get to that screen.  ~ Professor aka Michael M of Boathouse Rowers, our in-house rowing SME.

    I still struggle with HSPU in a wod. The last set of 10 took forever. 🙁

    Thanks to coach Adam for the motivation to do the last set of DL unbroken. My T2B have come a long way. Great job 5:30!

    My right shoulder has been giving me some issues the past few weeks so I didn’t take the risk of of doing HSPU and doubled up on decline pushups instead. Other than that I felt pretty good! Still went out a little too quick and was starting to burn out at the end.

    Nice working out with the noon crew.

    19:05(1 abmat). I had 1 blue mat but been having shoulder issues and kept coming down hard, so used 1 abmat. Good thing I’m going to see Mr. Miyagi tomorrow, aka Dr. Payne (plug ;). Thx Sid!

    I think that was the time that I heard someone yell, but I was so far away mentally during this WOD…who knows. Made 15 HSPU with no AbMat, and made 15 DL with 225# before switching to lighter weight to avoid a DNF. Mentally tough. Thx Arnold for keeping me in the game. You are always so great!
